Gordon Food Service has delivered the excellence, expertise, and quality products customers need to design successful food operations and experiences for over 120 years. They have grown to become the largest family-operated broadline food distribution company in North America.
They were implementing a store refresh at many of their locations— renovating, updating signage, lighting upgrades, new layouts, etc. To many, Gordon Food Service is known for being a wholesale or distributor for food services such as hospitals, restaurants, and hotels. With this refresh, Gordon Foods wanted to promote its services and availability to everyday retail grocery store customers and push that they are not just a B2B company, but business to consumer as well.
The CEO wanted to get the word out to the public using new Electro-Matic Visual LED displays to advertise sales and products that would appeal to those retail consumers. To make this project a reality, we partnered with the sign company, Universal Sign Systems, for all the installation and permitting.
Gordon Food Service has seen such success since installation that they've continued to purchase six to ten signs a year to add to their other locations.
