Electro-Matic's Charity Team Donates to Two Local Charities for Holiday Season

On behalf of the Holiday Charity Team we would like to thank all Electro-Matic employees for the donations to our two charities. This year we had donations for Farmington Area Good Fellows and the Detroit Dog Rescue.
 
All donations have been delivered and will be distributed by each organization.
 
GoodFellows:  Is distributing to over 140 families this year and had an out pouring of volunteers to sort and deliver all the donations they received in. Electro-Matic delivered toys, clothes, books, food, supplies, gift cards and shopped with cash donations to help fill the wish lists.
 
Detroit Dog Rescue:  DDR was opened in 2014 with the goal helping and limiting stray dogs in the Detroit area. This non-profit organization focuses on improving the life of these stray dogs.  Electro-Matic filled the lobby of one of DDR's drop off sites with Food, supplies, treats and bones to make sure these dogs were taken care of this winter.

Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, MI Upgrades Facility and Signage

The Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester, Michigan was under a 14.5 million dollar renovation to upgrade the whole facility. The new building allows for the best living and learning environment for the dogs. The upgrade to the veterinary clinic will also allow for the best care to be given to the canines by adding 35% more space and new technology.

Motor City Harley Davidson Installs LED Lighting & LED Displays

The new Motor City Harley Davidson opened up in late August in style, hosting an incredible event in their own parking lot and was in need of high-bay LED lighting to show off their incredible selection of motorcycles and merchandise. The show room includes hundreds of motorcycles with a large selection of styles and other Harley Davidson apparel, accessories and collector items. Blending in two 5mm LED displays and LED high bay lighting puts the cherry on top to make their showroom look incredible.
 
Electro-Matic Visual's LED Lighting was the best solution for Motor City Harley Davidson. With only 1.8 miles separating the two companies Motor City Harley Davidson and Electro-Matic Visual were able to install 78 fixtures to make the iconic motorcycles look even more attractive on the show room floor.
 
Motor City Harley Davidson is also implementing two 5mm LED displays from Electro-Matic Visual.  These unique LED display applications are hard to miss when you are shopping around.  The displays are being used as an indoor application at Motor City Harley Davidson, but it also has the capabilities to withstand the outdoor elements.  Standing over 7 feet tall the LED displays projects the clear, vivid images you would expect to see, indoors or out.
 
Electro-Matic Visual and Motor City Harley Davidson brought the unique application on board because of its eye-catching capabilities. The displays are a great solution for informing customers about upcoming events, in-store specials, or promotional giveaways.

Central Wesleyan Church Uses LED Display for Community Awareness

Central Wesleyan Church is based out of Holland, Michigan and has four other physical campuses and an online campus with the common goal of meeting new friends, building lasting relationships and finding your life's purpose. This massive facility in Holland is hard to miss and especially with their new LED message center. 
 
Electro-Matic Visual's LED message center compliments the wonderful 100-acre property and landscape that this church resides on. The full color display helps inform the thousands of people that attend Central Wesleyan every Sunday of events, shows, gatherings, worships, baptisms, youth programs and more.

Our Speakers

Jeff Bauman has applied technology-driven solutions to business problems over the bulk of his career. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University in 1973 and began his career as an Applications Engineer for the Collins Radio subsidiary of Rockwell International in Richardson, Texas.  Sales, marketing, and management positions with Litton Industries and Rockwell’s Commercial Avionics business followed.

 Jeff joined Electro-Matic in 2005 to help migrate the company’s core LED business from the industrial to the commercial sector, and currently configures and delivers LED digital signage and lighting solutions to businesses throughout Ohio.

James Baker earned his B.A. in Communication and Marketing from Saginaw Valley State University in 2003. He began his career in corporate marketing & sponsorship with the Detroit Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment in 2003. After spending 5 years with the Detroit Pistons, in 2008 he joined Electro-Matic Products, Inc becoming a member of their Visual Products sales team. Since then, James has held several positions with Electro-Matic including in 2009 becoming Regional Sales Manager of Chicago, IL Territory and most recently in 2013 Visual Products Commercial Sales Manager. 

James has extensive experience in LED technology. Having completed projects with LED Displays and Lighting all over the country.

Electro-Matic Visual Installs Two New LED Displays at the Premier Event Center in Mid-Michigan

The Birch Run Expo Center is an entertainment and trade facility located along I-75 in Birch Run, Michigan. When they were ready to upgrade their fifteen year old, monochrome amber LED Sign, Electro-Matic Visual helped them make it happen.
 
This entertainment venue received two new LED Displays from Electro-Matic Visual. The full color, single-sided LED Sign, is anchored at the entrance to the venue, and the new full-color double-sided LED Display can be seen while driving north or southbound on I-75.
